GROUP CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER: Gordon Thomson. British, Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (and first prize winner 1996) under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. With over 15 years financial experience Gordon has since 2000 directed companies within industry in their financial responsibilities in the UK and Asia (Hong Kong, China and now the Philippines).

DIRECTOR & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER: Steve Waterfield is a British national with 35 years of professional experience in the development, construction, operation and maintenance of international power generation assets and over 20 years technical, commercial and operational management experience in South East Asia.

DIRECTOR: Grace Yeneza. Filipina. Over 25 years experience in Philippines energy and energy planning sector. Former Managing Director of Preferred Energy Inc, focused on R&D into renewable energy efficiency. Former Corporate Planning Director for the National Electrification Administration leading work on rural electrification and renewable energy development.

DIRECTOR: Alberto Dalusung III. Filipino – 27 years in Philippines’ energy sector, in planning and project design and implementation. Project development and financing for the La Suerte Rice Husk co-generation power generation project Former Philippine Chief Country Co-Ordinator for EC-ASEAN Co-generation program. Former Head of Planning, Dept of Energy. Author of Philippine CDM Guide with Grace Yeneza. Adviser to Meralco and other distribution utilities on generation and CDM.

DIRECTOR & FOUNDER: Maribeth de Montagine. Filipina. 16 years experiance in Community Development and Renewable Energy as well as coordinating Government and Major International Institutions working with her Husband David in Europe, China, Cambodia, Vietnam, North America and the Philippines.

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Alex Worrall, British, has been a senior industrial director for over thirty years. After gaining his accountancy qualifications, Alex spent three years with Ford at its European Headquarters and then moved to ICI working on mergers and acquisitions. He joined Tallent Engineering in 1979 in a strategic role that saw its turnover grow from £1 million to over £100 million per annum from organic growth. In 2003, Alex left Tallent Engineering after more than 20 years as Finance Director and took over the role of Non-Executive Chairman of ThyssenKrupp UK Plc which is the holding company of 52 subsidiary companies including Tallent. ThyssenKrupp UK Plc had a total annual turnover of £1.6 billion in 2004/2005 and some 8,000 employees.

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Cornelio (Leo) Abuda. Filipino. Senior Partner of Abuda Asis Associates law firm. Former Partner and Head of Banking, Energy and Finance group, Quisingbing Torres (member firm of Baker McKenzie International) after work with SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan (largest law firm in the Philippines). Admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1991.

HEAD OF PROJECT DEVELOPMENT: John Cesar B. Santos holds more than 20 years of significant experience in the energy/environment policy & planning fields, project management & development, communications & research, and events’ management. Highlights of his career were working for the UK-Department of Trade and Industry and the World Energy Council on the Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Energy Project, for the EC-ASEAN Cogen3 Programme, for USAID and Winrock International’s AMORE Program and for the Jakarta-based ASEAN-EC Energy Management Training & Research Centre (AEEMTRC), the predecessor of the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE).

Mr. Santos holds a Masters Degree on Energy and Environmental Economics from the Scuola Superiore Enrico Mattei in Milan, Italy. He successfully completed a Chevening Fellowship Award from the British Council and the UK Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) for a 3-month intensive training course on Energy Efficiency at the Institute of Energy and Sustainable Development of De Montfort University in Leicester, England.
